300 orchestra thrill at The Apostolic Church 67th Easter concert

No fewer than three hundred orchestral  thronged the West and Central Africa (WECA) Headquarters of the Apostolic Faith Church, Anthony Village, Lagos on Sunday, April 16 for the 67th annual Easter concert.

Themed “He Lives,” the choir delivered a soul-lifting performance from orchestral to drama titled “Mercy Walked In” to the delight of the attendees.

At ‘Easter of War’ Pope and others seeks peace

World leaders, statesmen, politician, top government officials, religious leaders and other organisations yesterday renewed the global call for peace and unity as Christians across the globe marked Easter.

Catholic Pontiff Pope Francis described this year’s celebration as “Easter of War”, alluding to the Russian-Ukrainian war, which has led to loss of lives and destruction of property.

Ondo woman arrested for selling baby to Pastor for N10,000

 

Officers of Ondo Security Network, popularly known as Amotekun have arrested a woman, Seun Oladayo, for allegedly selling her newborn baby for N10,000.

The 22-year-old sold the baby shortly after giving birth to a Pastor, identified as Olawale who reported the incident to Amotekun officers.
